Well
here we are, another week has come and gone, in 6 days that makes 9 months out
on my mission! Wooh! It actually kinda sucks though, because I really love my
mission and the area that I am serving in right now, the people here are so
kind and inviting and they have definitely become my second family! It’s
actually really phuni, this past week; the mission installed two new computers
here in the church. For the first time the church leaders have to do all of their
churchy stuff electronically.... They don’t know how to work the programs
really... So the bishop here has kinda called me to be the Tech support for the
next few weeks! It’s crazy; I don’t even know if I’m allowed to be doing some
of the stuff I do haha. Anyway, they are all astonished by the computers and
how much easier it is to turn in all of their paperwork to church headquarters.
It makes me laugh sometimes when I think that I’ve somehow been called as tech
support for the second time on my mission, I never imagined that, that would be
a part of my calling as a missionary!
Also,
this week has been really good; we’ve been working a lot with the members in
order to find new investigators. We’ve been having some success! Even though it’s
not much, I’m proud to say that we have some good quality investigators. For me
it’s much more important to have quality rather than quantity. I don’t want to
baptize "inactive" members, but people who will trust in the lord and
his teachings for the rest of their lives! I’m pretty sure that I am going to
be called as the new zone leader here pretty soon; the old zone leaders gave me
a heads up. That means that the work load will only be getting bigger, which
means that the Lord really is watching over me and knows I need to pay more
attention on his work rather than the problems in my "world." I’ve
really been gaining a testimony on that lately, that he really does know me
individually, my thoughts, feeling and concerns. He knows exactly what I need
in order to mend my heart perfectly every time! I love him so much, and am more
than happy to give him two years of my life!
As
for the pictures this week, the first is of a watercolor that I did for a
granny here, it made her really happy that I gave it to her without really
having a reason, she smiled which made me smile, which made the work I put into
it worth it! The second Picture is for my Ma, because she asks that I take
pictures of the flowers here for her! Its ridiculous how many species of
flowers there are here, I find a new one every day! That’s about it for this
week, the church is true, Jesus is the Christ and Joseph is the Smith! I love
you all so much, stay safe this week!
