11/25/2013

Well Just some news to tell you folks, President told me this morning that I shall be coming home a little early because of visa things, so expect the date to change to end of September to beginning of October time, he has to get things figured out. Anyway, I found that out this morning during our interviews with him. He said he has been really proud of the work that I’ve been doing as a zone leader and that the lord is proud too. It’s never a bad thing hearing compliments like that! I keep thanking my Heavenly Father for all of these blessings he has given me on my mission, I have the best mission in the whole world, it shall be sad having to go home a little early, but he told me that it would help them out a lot.
As for this past week, we were supposed to have a baptism this past Saturday, but it wasn’t able to be accomplished because she had some medical issues, it was sad to see how heartbroken she was, it broke my heart too. She has been waiting for years now; she wants to be baptized more than anything. She told us that she has faith in the Lord though, and her time will come. I included a picture of my new companions; they are really awesome, elder Bates and elder Vautier. Elder Bates will be finishing his mission in about 3 weeks now, so that’s why the president of the mission put him with us. He is an awesome guy, and I always feel the spirit with my two new companions, it’s awesome!
As for the other pictures, its Arii and Ura, the couple that I baptized last weekend. They are amazing, such a strong spirit of service with the two.  They come do missionary work all the time with us. I hope you all know how much I love you; I tell everyone all the time that I have the best family in the world. I always tell too, that I never really profited from how amazing they were before my mission, but I definitely will after my mission!! It reminds me of the story in the Book of Mormon in Alma 32:14-16 where it talks about the poor people who were rejected from the churches and were in a way forced to become humble. I’m kinda like those poor people, I was forced to see the importance of family, but the Lord has blessed me with this eternal knowledge, and I’m eternally grateful! He says in the verses that the people who aren’t forced to be humble are blessed even more...but hey, I’m here to help people avoid the mistakes I made.  Either way, I have the joyful occasion of teaching about eternal families, as I enjoy the blessings of having one of my own.  I love you all so much, be safe this week, sorry I didn’t have much to write, it’s a crazy busy day today. Until next time!
